An independent evaluation of Rejuvea's patented sonicated multi-molecular hyaluronic acid complex.
The research evaluated the effects of Rejuvea's patented sonicated multi-molecular HA complex on Interleukin-8 (IL-8), a biomarker associated with inflammatory responses in skin tissue.
Up to a 92% reduction in IL-8 expression was observed during laboratory testing on cells treated with the Rejuvea sonicated technology, compared with active comparator formulations.
These findings suggest that the patented molecular configuration may help support the skin's natural calming processes — contributing to improved comfort and a healthier-looking complexion.
How the study was conducted.
Cell cultures
Human skin cells were prepared and maintained under controlled laboratory conditions.
Treatment
Cells were treated with the sonicated multi-molecular HA complex alongside active comparators.
Measurement
IL-8 expression was measured as a marker of the skin's inflammatory response.
Analysis
Results were compared against comparator formulations to quantify the reduction.
In collaboration with leading institutions.
University of Pavia
Academic research collaboration on the biological effects of the multi-molecular HA complex.
UB Care
Independent laboratory testing and measurement of IL-8 expression under controlled assay.
